How much is shipping?

All shipping rates are calculated off the total weight of your order. As this is a weight-based service, we cannot provide any indication of price until we know the scope of your order and where you’re located. All packages leave insured for the total value of your order - although this increases the cost of postage, we have learnt through years of experience that it’s not worth taking the risk, when dealing with a premium product, to send anything without that extra bit of financial protection. All packages leave tracked, domestic or international. For international orders, the tracking and insurance does increase the price, but we stand by this premium service and feel it’s the best option when dealing with premium clients!

What is the estimated delivery time?

Australia:
Regular Post: Please allow 2-5 business days* from receiving confirmation that your order has left.
Express Post: Please allow 1-3 business days* from receiving confirmation that your order has left.

International:
Pack & Track / Express Courier International: Please allow 5-10 business days* from receiving confirmation that your order has left.

* Please note: These time frames are not guaranteed. While we do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, we cannot be held responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control.

How much of the 'shipping & handling' charge is handling and what does that entail?

Additional to the actual cost of shipping your order, based on weight to your location, the cost of packaging and insurance is included in this charge. We do not make any profits from these charges. These are raw costs based on materials used and postage charges as they are charged to us.

Can I choose to not have my order insured to reduce the cost?

While we understand that this increases the cost, we have chosen to not make the service optional. Despite having all faith and belief in Australia Post and their services, once your order leaves our studio, we no longer have any control over it. Insuring all orders before they leave grants us, and you, the peace of mind that should the worst happen in transit, we are financially covered and have grounds to investigate to provide the most optimal outcome should this scenario arise.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we stand by this option.

How can I track my order?

We will send your consignment number to you the same day your order leaves the studio. It will be included in the email you receive with your invoice, as well as in email correspondence about your order.

Domestic Orders
All domestic orders come with tracking. 

Please note: it may take up to 24 hours after receiving our shipping confirmation for tracking to take effect.

International Orders
All international orders com with tracking. There are different services for different international locations. We will communicate with you about your delivery service, estimated time frames and any restrictions if they differ from the above information.

You'll be able to see when your parcel has been: received and accepted by a Post Office processed for international delivery received by the overseas postal organisation delivered to its destination.

International Taxes and Customs Charges

International customers may be required to pay sales tax, duty and/or customs charges.

All taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to you. Few and Far Studio is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order.

Other things you should know

All following up and/or tracking is the responsibility of each customer and/or the shipping service provider – while we do everything we can within our power and to the best of our ability to make sure orders get to you safely and as fast as possible, we cannot be held responsible once an order leaves our studio.

If incorrect shipping information is provided, and your order is returned to us, Few and Far Studio reserves the right to charge a re-shipment fee according to the relevant price of postage to your location.

Your shipping cost is non-refundable.

Packaging and Handling

How will my order be packaged?

We have strong, custom-printed boxes to fit A5, A4 and A3 prints. All A2 and A1 prints are flat packaged between rigid corflute to allow maximum protection in transit. All prints are wrapped in archival grade, acid free tissue paper to ensure no scuffing occurs. Custom and oversized prints are handled based on their size. We will always endeavour to ship prints out flat, but we are restricted by Australia Post with anything larger than 1m, in which case we will use postage tubes and roll your prints for transit.

Can I purchase packaging materials with my order to aid in shipping to my own customers?

Of course you can! Please let us know this when you place your order so we can

a) cost it out for you, and
b) ensure we have enough packaging material on hand to accommodate your needs
